Dr. David Kateete is a Senior Lecturer and Ag. Chair – Department of Immunology and Molecular Biology, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University. He completed his Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Masters Degree in Molecular Biology from Makerere University in Kampala Uganda. In 2005, He was awarded a 4-year Fogarty Scholarship for Doctoral studies. He has vast experience in Molecular Microbiology and Medical Parasitological, with exposure to various stateof-the-art research laboratories across borders. His research interests are Infection/Pathogen Biology, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Mechanisms, and Molecular Diagnostics.
